Tthe Alliance is a Private Sector Liaison Office of the World Bank Group which offers unequaled access to the World Bank Group’s $72.8 billion in annual procurement pipeline for goods and services across a broad range of sectors in the developing world. The Alliance is part of a network of 155 such offices around the world. Through the network, the Alliance can provide businesses with local market access and intelligence in over 98 countries.

Chicago International Trade Commissioner's Association

The Midwest is home to trade representatives of over 100 different countries and regions. The Alliance works with the Chicago International Trade Commissioners Association (CITCA) and international representatives from throughout the world to provide global opportunities for Midwest based businesses. By providing these services, the Alliance helps continue the presence of those representatives in the region and helps businesses in the Midwest access the markets and customers they represent.

The Alliance is developing additional resources essential to that effort in talent generation, entrepreneurial activities and venture investment that commercialization effort, with a goal to increase the number of technology jobs and high growth companies in the region.
