We are pleased to invite you to a holiday networking fundraiser to support Global Midwest Alliance as we celebrate another year of successful programming and kick off our calendar of events for 2014. All proceeds will fund the educational and mentoring programs that Global Midwest Alliance, a 501(c)(3) organization, provides to innovators and entrepreneurs across the Midwest.
Special guest Adolfo Laurenti, Deputy Chief Economist at Mesirow Financial and author of Themes on the Global Markets, a periodic newsletter providing insight into trends, issues and the forecast for the global economy, will be providing his remarks on innovation, globalization and the economic outlook for 2014.
Guests will also enjoy a holiday punch based on Charles Dickens' original recipe -- a sophisticated brandy-rum concoction ideal for ringing in the holiday season!
Enjoy an evening of wine, hors d'oeuvres and panoramic views of Lake Michigan from the 36th floor of Brinks Gilson & Lione in NBC Tower. Attendees at the reception will include civic, business and academic leaders, investors and entrepreneurs from the clean tech, water, logistics, manufacturing, food and energy industry sectors.
Cost to attend the networking reception and fundraiser is $125 per person. Space is limited. Please register on or before December 2, 2013.

Private Sector Liaison Offices (PSLOs) facilitate companies’ access to World Bank Group business opportunities, services and knowledge, and act as the voice of the private sector in advising the World Bank Group on how to better engage companies on development issues.
