GLOBAL MIDWEST ALLIANCE AND KERRY TASTE AND NUTRITiON MAKE DONATION TO BELOIT MEALS ON WHEELS
CHICAGO – Global Midwest Alliance is pleased to announce that a donation of $15,000 was made to Beloit Meals on Wheels, on behalf of Kerry Taste & Nutrition and the Midwest Food Matters Leadership Awards Campaign. Kerry Taste and Nutrition, the 2019 Leadership Award Honoree, selected Beloit Meals on Wheels as the recipient of Global Midwest Alliance’s 2019 Midwest Food Matters donation.
The goal of Midwest Food Matters is to not only put the Midwest region on the global map as a leading center for food industry excellence and creativity, but also to demonstrate the capacity of the food industry to give back and support important initiatives on a regional and global level. This year’s Awards were supported by generous contributions from Emerald Circle sponsors Kerry, Flying Food Group and Foodliner, as well as Diamond Circle sponsors Ardent Mills, Bryan Cave Leighton & Paisner and Polsinelli.All net proceeds from this non-profit initiative support the important industry-focused non-profits, America Meals on Wheels, Beloit Meals on Wheels and the innovative food industry support and development programs of Global Midwest Alliance.

Hosted by Global Midwest Alliance, the 5th Annual Midwest Food Matters Leadership Awards gala was held on October 24, 2019 and recognizes excellence, leadership and innovation within the Midwest food industry. This past year, Midwest Food Matters honored Kerry Taste and Nutrition. This annual event brings together leaders, suppliers and service providers from the many faces of the food industry for an evening of networking and to celebrate the impact, accomplishments and bright promise for the future of the food industry in the Midwest.
